Sandwell NHS
The following article has been forwarded to EXTEND detailing the work on a project in the West Midlands by Sandwell NHS in collaboration with many other partnerships schemes. It aim is to promote 50+ programme of activity called Active Sandwell. Throughout the programme it highlights the valuable contributions made by EXTEND teachers. Another example of delivering EXTEND classes to elderly through various programmes and activities.

Vitality
Vitality is an NHS approved and subsidised Lincolnshire programme of movement to music for 60+ participants, or for those individuals who have medical conditions that prevent them from exercising in a ‘normal’ setting. The project is part of the EXTEND Exercise Training Ltd a registered charity for older people and designed to provide a number of benefits to participants such as improved mobility, balance, coordination through carefully planned gentle exercise classes.
